Tonight was an openhouse at school.
I came upon an essay about our family
written by one of my brilliant students.
The whole essay was so cute.
Then I read this sentence....
"I love my family because my mom is ..."
'pretty' or was it 'petty'
??
Did my little student realize their teacher
was going to hang the essays in the hall
and quickly added the letter R?
hmmm.
