Our poor front door.

It faces the west and the sun in the late afternoon

has baked the polyurethane right off.

So, we decided to paint it.

first we sanded it down...



then we painted it purple!





Actually, this the primer.


But we had some fun teasing the kids.


They thought we'd lost our minds.
