2009 was a tough year for us in ways I don't want to detail on my blog,

but suffice it to say, we're looking forward to 2010.

In an effort to make 2009 positively memorable,

my sweet husband gave me a camera for Christmas.

A Nikon digital SLR.

And it worked.
